More Post Needed
Please submit stories pertaining to Marty Sugarman. A book is being compiled about his interesting life. In addition we are assembling and excerping his compelling and comedic writings thoughts, vignettes and reportage. In addition his drawings paintings and other photographs will be included. We appreciate your submissions and contributions. This book mirrors the surfing culture of the tumultuous 60's.

Come visit Marty @ Fireside
I would like to invite all of you to visit Marty at Fireside in Santa Monica. He appreciates all the company he can get. It's only a few block s from Palisades Park over looking Sorrento Beach. Please call ahead to the facility for his therapy & meal schedule (listed on the right). If you are to walk him to the bluffs please inform the front desk you are taking him and leave your name & mobile number. Be sure to call and wish him a happy birthday. (64)

Another Shift in Accomodations 6/02
Marty has been released from UCLA/Westwood and has been transferred to Fireside Convalesing Hospital in Santa Monica. http://www.firesidecare.com/contact-us.php He will be settling in today. And he will have more freedom to get out provided he is well enough. He should be able to see the ocean from this facility. Marty is currently at UCLA / Westwood for some additional treatment. He will be there for a bit longer. He is still in Room 6641 - 310.267.6200 Please post more stories & Pictures for Marty. And well wishes are always appreciated.

Update - 5/28
Marty needed some more test to update his diagnosis of his condition, so the day before yesterday he went off to UCLA/Westwood Hospital. He is in Room 6641 in the north wing. Tel # 310-267-6200 room 6641. He does have his phone but doesn't always answer. You can visit him at any hour, just call ahead to make sure he is there. He may be there through Sunday or Monday.
